Time Oni - An Ao Oni/Hetaoni based rp

"Give them back!" Ace screamed. He had to watch as each of his friends were killed by it, he had to listen to their pleas for him to go on, but he had enough. It smiled at Ace and handed him a book. Ace opened the book warily and read aloud a name "Ryuzuu?" After hearing the name it slowly marched toward Ace.

In a small town there is an urban legend. Apparently there is a large mansion deep in the woods, and once you enter


Of course, this is just a myth, right? I mean, who's ever heard of a real evil mansion?

Notes

• Ryuzuu is dead. He can't help the characters anymore
  
• 'It' will be explained in the rp. No one knows what 'It' is
  
• In this rp everyone dies, but that isn't the end. This will also be explained in the rp
  
• For vital parts of the rp I will act as something similar to Dungeon Master, giving the characters set actions they can take (ie: **** has found a clock. Will they break it, keep it, or put it back)
  
• Clocks are very important. If there is a DM moment concerning a clock think carefully about what you will do

• This is a fairly realistic rp in a sense that the characters don't come from 'villages hidden from society' or 'aren't exactly human'
  
• Please don't give characters unrealistic fighting skills, they're just high school students. Knowing a fighting style is different from being a 16 year old black belt

Ace stood at the front of the mansion with his friends, having a quick smoke before they went in.

Peter coughed as he waved his hand in front of his face, "Do you really have to smoke now, Ace? You know that shit destroys your lungs right?"

Not for the first time, thoughts amounting to why did he become friends with this guy in the first place, crossed his mind.

Ace seemed... off. Like his mind had wandered far away. It took a moment for him to register what Peter had said. He replied with a hiss "shut up. What are you, my mom? No wait, if you were you'd be smoking with me"

Peter rolled his eyes, "I'm not going to let you drag me into that argument again, families and all." He shook his head.

Looking up at the mansion, "So this place's legit? I mean, haunted and all?"

Wulfric chuckled and said "it sounds exciting!"

Peter shook his head, "Only you Wulf, only you..." He muttered.

Wulfric gently removed some plant growth that covered the door and said "I wonder how long this mansion has been here?"

Ace put out his cigarette and said "who knows and who cares. It's a dumb house with a dumb myth"

Peter shrugged, "Be it as it may, we still ought to be careful, haunted or not, this place is as old as the hills and may be falling apart at the same time."

Wulfric placed a hand on Ace's forehead and asked "are you feeling ok?" he continued as Ace smacked his hand away "you were the one that told us you wanted to see this place." Ace marched past Wulfric and said "Yeah, I want to see. I'm not backing out." Wulfric chuckled and muttered "you never do"

"Stubborn as a mule." Peter muttered under his breath and silently chuckled.

"I'm not waiting for the others, lets go already!" Ace said as he opened the door. Wulfric walked calmly behind Ace into the mansion.

Peter quickly jogged to catch up with the two others.

((This is the foyer: ))

Ace and Wulfric looked around the empty foyer. Ace crossed his arms and said "empty house is empty it seems"

Peter chuckled, "Thank you Captain Obvious." Obvious amusement and sarcasm layered thick onto his voice as he looked around the foyer.

CRASH!

"The hell was that?" Ace hissed. He ran toward the noise and called over his shoulder "Wulf, you stay here!"

Peter jumped, "The hell?" He looked around.

Watching Ace run off, he began to bite at his fingernails, a nervous habit he had formed a few years ago, making a decision, he went running after Ace, looking back he called to Wulf, "Stay by the door if anything weird happens!"

Ace was standing in the kitchen, staring down at a broken plate. He picked up a shard and said "a plate? that was way to f*cking loud to just be a plate falling"

Peter picked up a shard himself, "Aye.... Something doesn't feel right here." The hairs on the back of his neck were standing on end at this point.

Deciding there was nothing left, the two boys went back to the foyer. They returned to a grizzly sight:

Wulfric lay bloodied and black with bruises on the floor. His head was rotated 180 degrees, every joint was crushed, and his fingers were severed. following the bloody trail the boys find Wulfric's fingers trapped in the front door which was creaking with strain as it tried to close against the fingers. Ace is frozen. What will Peter do?

Fighting back a wave of nausea at the grisly sight, Peter kneeled down beside Wulfric and looked him over.

Peter sees nothing that will give him any more information

Shaking his head, but still trying to fight down nausea, he walked up to where Ace was just standing and frozen. He shook Ace's shoulder heavily, "Ace! Ace! Dammit Ace, snap the hell out of it!"

Ace shakes his head and says "ack! sorry! My heads straight now!"

With nothing left to try the two boys try to pull the door open, but it won't budge. The severed fingers fall lose on the other side and the boys remove their hands just in time to save their digits.

Stepping away from the door, "Well, this is bullshit." Peter grumbled.
