Legend of Akena -- Reboot Characters

Name: Ectaint Windclaw
Age: 27 (Genasi live up to 80 years)
Gender: Male
Race: Genasi (individual touched/corrupted by an elemental anomaly)
Powers: Locked to Wind-elemental magic
Weapons: A blade that is thin like a rapier, but double-edged like a long-sword. He used to wield a quarterstaff, but traded it for his current blade.
Personality: Normally very calm, takes things as they come. Tends to be a loner due to the fleeting nature of his magic permeating his entire self. Finds it difficult to form long-term relationships. Very adaptable. Has a few leadership qualities, but his own...quirks can get in the way.
Bio: Left his homeland to escape the genocide of his kind with several others of his people (numbers in the low hundreds). Most of them have settled into Fort Rankin though a few have found a home in the Melrock Forest. Ectaint is a wanderer at heart, not content to settle down in one place. Ectaint was their leader in escaping.
Appearance:

Other: Genasi have the potential to 'adopt' another elemental manifestation which can come very suddenly, and the process of 'transforming' is very painful, the pain can be lessened but this comes after A LOT of work and training. I do have plans for Ectaint to 'adopt' another manifestation later on. Depending on how things go, Ectaint MAY become an "Elemental Tempest" which will allow him to embody the two elements at the same time, but I want to try to stay away from this.

Name: Neraka Vas Haarashil ("Doppel")
Age: 46 (roughly 32 in demon terms)
Gender: Male
Race: Charax Demon
Powers: Illusion magic. Most prominent spells are taking the physical appearance of another humanoid, being invisible and inaudible, and 'decoy spells' wherein she could usr illusory magic to provide distractions, such as throwing her voice or causing an illusory form of herself running in a certain direction.
Weapons: A single, refined Abyssal Steel stiletto knife with a rounded ram-horn pommel. Very durable, but still only a small knife.
Personality: TBPO
Bio: Born in The Abyss, a warring section of Morish, and trained in the arts of illusion magic from his family, Doppel earned his nickname for his ability to mimic the form and sound of just about anyone around him. Seeing this level of skill got the attention of the Legion, giving Doppel a clever idea. Through subtle manipulation, political assassinations, and other shenanigans, Doppel made his way into Zagato's throne. Through sheer wit, he convinced Zagato to let him become a spy for the Legion, avoiding the mind-altering magic Zagato generally used to ensure his long-term safety. Now on the other side of the gate, Doppel set out to live an unusual, crafty, suspicious, and sometimes downright evil lifestyle.
Appearance: (Considering he rarely assumes his demonic state, this is rarely seen) Blackened skin, orange-yellow eyes with slit irises, elongated and claw-tipped hands, digitigrade feet in a form somewhat feline in shape, the symbol of The Abyssal Hellsawn branded on his back, a necklance with a Vargan tooth hamging around his neck, long silvery hair.
Other: Belongs to the subspecies of demons adept at altering their physical form through illusory magic. Belonged to a military-like group of demons, The Hellspawn.

Name: Noh
Age: 74
Gender: Male
Race: Drow
Powers: Weak pyromancy
Weapons: Dual blades
Personality: A bookworm, Noh loves to learn. He is quite trusting, and trustworthy in return. He is fiercely loyal and will hunt down whoever harms his friends and family, no matter how long it takes
Bio: Noh was found as a baby just outside Melandru by an elf family on their way to Fort Rankon. Noh was just a toddler at the time, standing and weeping in front of the city. When the elves approached a group of barbarians attacked. The elves quickly defeated the barbarians and were about to leave Noh when their daughter went to the young drow's side and asked him what happened. Noh told the elven girl his sad story: his family was on their way to Melandru to visit a 'business partner', as his mother put it. But they were attacked on the way there by barbarians. They killed his parents and siblings, an older sister and twin brother, and decided to use Noh as bait for their next victims.
Pitying the young drow, the elves took him in. They figured he was young enough to teach him their ways. After that day Noh forgot everything, he buried the memories deep beneath what he read and time spent with his new family. While out selling the pelts and roasted meats he had collected Noh's elven family was murdered. Distraught and traumatized, Noh ran far from the city.
Appearance: You can't really see them, but his eyes are amber in color

Other: 'Noh' is actually a mistranslation of his name. Noh had written his name in a forgotten language that even the elves hadn't found until now. They found it was similar enough to draconic and translated the writing as such, but in reality he had written 'Nox'

Name: Amara Lanvaldear
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Powers: None
Weapons: A gold and silver long sword.
Personality: She is polite and proper, as is expected of her because of her position. She gets frustrated easily. She is used to the luxuries of the royal family but does not forget that their are people who don't have said luxuries. She is open minded, and does not judge anyone unless given a good reason.
Bio: Princess Amara is second in line to the throne of Fort Rankin, her older brother being the first. Even so, she is often reminded that she wouldn't be able to assume the throne anyways because of her gender, not without marriage. She disagrees with a lot of the laws her father the King and the prince have set forth, but often does not have any say. This prompted her to start sneaking out of the castle in disguise, helping people who could not get any because of the law, and became a sort of rogue princess.
Appearance: She has fair skin, long, slightly wavy auburn hair. She is average height for a woman, and slender.

Other: May develop some sort of power to help her along later in the roleplay.
